BJRA AGM 2026: A New Committee Leads Bukit Jelutong's Next Chapter
The new BJRA committee, elected at the AGM 2026, brings fresh energy and a shared vision for a more connected, vibrant Bukit Jelutong.
Bukit Jelutong, Shah Alam — [16 September 2026]
The essence of Bukit Jelutong has always been defined by its people; the shared laughter echoing across the local fields, the collective action that transforms a mere collection of houses into a living, breathing home. When we look back at the vibrant energy of the BJ Penalty Shoot-Out late last year, the true victory wasn’t found on the scoreboard. It was found in the neighbors cheering from the sidelines, forging lifelong bonds over every blocked shot and celebrated goal.
When our community banded together for the No Single Use Plastic Campaign at the bustling Bukit Jelutong Ramadan Bazaar, it was a testament to our shared responsibility. We proved our commitment to our environment again when we proudly secured first place in the Community Recycling Competition (KIKOM). These initiatives validated one undeniable truth: when the residents of Bukit Jelutong unite behind a common cause, we create lasting, positive change.
These past gatherings are not merely events on a calendar; they are the milestones of our shared history. They weave the intricate fabric of our community, reminding us that the true strength of our township lies in our willingness to show up, participate, and care for our shared spaces and one another.
Today, we are turning the page to a highly anticipated new chapter. Following the recent Annual General Meeting (AGM), the Bukit Jelutong Residence Association (BJRA) has officially ushered in a newly integrated leadership team. This transition marks far more than a simple change in administrative titles. It represents a profound injection of fresh perspective, seamlessly blending seasoned neighborhood experience with forward-thinking, dynamic energy.
This new committee is already laying the strategic groundwork for a remarkably vibrant future. Their vision is deeply rooted in community integration and connection. They are currently conceptualizing larger, more inclusive events designed to draw us even closer together, celebrating the diverse tapestry of our residents. While maintaining absolute vigilance over foundational necessities like neighborhood security, the overarching focus of this upcoming term is driven by sheer optimism and community growth. They are committed to transforming our shared aspirations into tangible realities, fostering an environment where neighborhood tradition meets modern innovation.
We are proud to introduce the new team leading these initiatives for the upcoming term:
President: Raimie Razi
Deputy President: Rachit Ismail
Secretary: Aisha Zanariah
Assistant Secretary: Simon Lau
Treasurer: Mohd Syamil Aizat
Executive Committee: Nazrin Kamarul Bahrain & Rahimah Ahmad
Auditor: Azri Muhammad
Working Sub-Committee: Abdul Ghani Abd Rahman, Mustaqim Kumar Abdullah, & Hariz Badrulhisham
This integrated leadership stands ready to build upon the legacy we have all created. The strong groundwork laid by our past successes now serves as the launchpad for tomorrow’s ambitions. The future of Bukit Jelutong is undeniably bright, but realizing its full potential requires the continued, active participation of every resident.
This is a call to action to stand behind this new committee, to bring your ideas to the table, and to actively shape the community we envision for ourselves and the next generation. The next great chapter of Bukit Jelutong begins now. Let us write it together.
