Bukit Jelutong came alive with cheers, laughter, and friendly rivalry at the BJ Penalty Shoot-Out 2025, held at Radia Arena, Bukit Jelutong. The event, organised by the Bukit Jelutong Residents’ Association (BJRA), brought together families, friends, and football enthusiasts for a vibrant morning of fun, fitness, and friendly competition.

From as early as 7:30 a.m., players from both the Open and Under-12 categories arrived, lacing up their boots and warming up for an exciting day of shoot-outs. Supporters filled the sidelines, waving banners and cheering loudly for their teams, creating an atmosphere charged with energy and community spirit.

Adding to the excitement was a spirited live performance by the Bukit Jelutong Community Orchestra (BJCO), whose lively tunes set the rhythm for the day. Their music not only entertained but embodied Bukit Jelutong’s creative and inclusive culture.

The event’s Master of Ceremony kept the momentum alive with humour, enthusiasm, and crowd engagement throughout the competition — ensuring everyone, from players to spectators, was part of the action.

Each match delivered moments of thrill, precision, and emotion — from young players’ determination in the Under-12 Category to the high-energy shoot-outs in the Open Category. As the final whistles blew, trophies and cash prizes were awarded to the top teams, marking a fitting conclusion to a morning filled with sportsmanship and unity.
